MPIMC 2020 ONLINE

Thank you to everyone who helped make this year’s MPIMC a trail-blazing, meaningful, and unforgettable experience.

The response to our ONLINE class was overwhelming, with over 200 participants spanning the globe, from Australia, New Zealand, Taiwan, Korea, Japan, Austria, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Russia, Serbia, Malta, Italy, England, Canada, Mexico and across the US. We stand by our strong belief that in challenging times, it is essential to forge on and find ways to help and inspire one another. Hosting the festival on a virtual platform provided participants a wealth of learning opportunities and connection, even at a distance. 

Life during Covid-19 has presented us all with new and profound challenges, and the underlying focus of our sessions incorporated advice and discussions on how to navigate this new reality, how to practice, how to work with technology, and how to stay both mentally and physically healthy and motivated.

The seminar’s continuing primary goal is to help foster a well-rounded musicianship at the highest possible level, through masterclasses, lectures, interviews and movement sessions. This year, we are also pleased to host our own MPIMC CONCERTO COMPETITION, now in the Final Round.
