Cora Preda is a recent graduate  at Governor Thomas Johnson High School in Maryland. As a high school student she was also enrolled in the magnet program at the Academy for the Fine Arts in Frederick County, and was a member of the Baltimore Symphony Youth Orchestra. Cora has twice attended the Boston University Tanglewood Institute’s Woodwind Quintet summer workshop, and has been a regular soloist with the Frederick Symphony Orchestra. This Fall she will begin her first year as a flute performance major at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland.
