Control Your Breath and Relaxation

Our physical bodies and their condition are important elements for sound production, technical facility, and endurance on our instruments. Using a combination of breathing techniques influenced by Shaolin Kungfu, QiGong, Shiatsu, Pilates and SMB (Spirit Mind Body), Control Your Breath™ focuses on greater body awareness in flute playing through a series of exercises and movements targeted to develop core strength, diaphragmatic support, as well as through careful stretching and mindful relaxation.

In addition to the daily Morning Stretch sessions there are two separate afternoon CYB classes with differing intensity levels. Upon request, private sessions with Femi may be available for a supplemental fee.
